What is camp like?
An Overview
Camp is Monday – Friday from 9am – 4 pm.
The first day of camp every camper is placed on a team for the week. Campers are always placed on teams with their friends or siblings, per their choice. Each team has a coach who assists them during competitions, field trips, lunch, etc…
For the duration of the week, campers and teams may earn points by winning competitions, demonstrating good character, following directions, and wearing team colors. Every Sandlot Camp ends the week with Championship Friday! On Championship Friday all teams are awarded medals based on their teams total points. Championship Friday morning begins with all of our championship match ups followed by our Awards Ceremony, Camp Shirt distribution, and the showing of an edited version of “The Sandlot” or similar sports -themed movie.
