How Sandlot started…

Since 2005, thousands of young people have spent their summers at Sandlot summer camps. The tradition originated in Olentangy when a local Physical Education teacher, Sam Smith, created the camp. He saw the value in kids being outside, doing kid things, playing games, being active, making new friends, learning to be a good teammate, spending time away from technology, building character, etc. Sandlot offers opportunities for all of these things. Currently Sandlot camps are all over central Ohio including Dublin, Westerville, Hilliard, Delaware and we are proud to introduce the New Albany/Gahanna branch.
